¨The President’s Manufacturer of the year Awards is an annual event that is organized by the Confederation of Tanzania Industries (CTI) to award the outstanding manufacturers of the preceding year. The Awards are given to companies in small, medium and large manufacturer categories that exhibit a high degree of economic impact. ¨SBL won the 2017/18.
The John Akhwari International Marathon (JAIM) is an event of its kind in East Africa based on Tanzania’s most valuable athlete John Stephen Akhwari who represented the country in the 1968 Olympic Marathon in Mexico.He didn’t win a medal. In fact, he came nowhere near. But, in defeat and in pain, he came to represent something much more.
